Lisa Rapetti, MSN, RN, GNP-BC, C-IAYT, RYT-500
Yoga Therapist
Lisa’s approach to wellness comes from a blend of her yoga and nursing backgrounds. As both a yoga therapist and nurse practitioner, Lisa has a deep understanding of anatomy/physiology and of illness and its effects on wellbeing. She specializes in helping her clients live their best lives despite chronic illness and other challenges. Lisa’s goal is to bring the joy of yoga to every “body,” regardless of age, size, shape, or ability. She meets people where they are connecting them to their own innate healing potential.
Lisa is a nurse practitioner who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing with both a Bachelors and Masters degree in nursing science. As a nurse, Lisa worked in a variety of settings including nursing homes, out patient clinics, acutecare hospitals, and sub-acute rehabilitation facilities.
Lisa began practicing yoga over 25 years ago after sustaining a low back injury. Discovering the effectiveness of yoga postures and breathing practices, she realized the healing that yoga could bring to her patients. Lisa completed her 200 and 300 hour and yoga therapy teacher trainings at the Yoga Life Institute. Her other trainings include Yoga for Seniors through Duke University Department of Integrative Medicine, Functional Yoga Therapy, and Restore Your Prana.
Lisa currently teaches small group classes and is available for private yoga therapy sessions.
